In an exclusive interview with CaughtOffside for his Daily Briefing column, transfer news authority Fabrizio Romano addressed the recent Diaz to Barcelona reports, suggesting that the Colombian’s move may not be feasible for the Catalan giants due to financial constraints.
Having been a standout player for Liverpool since his arrival from Porto, Diaz’s potential departure this summer would undoubtedly concern fans, especially amid an already challenging period for the club.

“This is not what I’m hearing, though – Diaz is crucial player for Liverpool and also, for Barca to pay for a player like Diaz with their Financial Fair Play situation…I think that could be quite difficult.”
