European Giants Make Special Plan to Employ Jurgen Klopp as Manager After Leaving Liverpool

A former Manchester United manager is reportedly part of Bayern Munich’s strategy to appoint Jurgen Klopp as their future manager.

As Thomas Tuchel is set to depart the team at the season’s end, potential successors are being considered.

Despite the possibility of winning the Champions League this season, Bayern have already made the decision regarding Tuchel’s future.

Having surrendered the Bundesliga title to Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen, the German giants are shifting their focus to next season.

In preparation, Bayern have begun identifying several candidates to lead the club.

Bayern Munich Want to Appoint Jurgen Klopp

German publication Kicker has reported that Bayern Munich are considering the prospect of bringing Ralf Rangnick on board as their interim manager for the upcoming 2024–2025 season.

Their strategy involves having Jurgen Klopp assume the role of permanent manager after Rangnick’s tenure.

Jurgen Klopp, currently managing Liverpool, has opted to take a hiatus from football following his nine-year stint leading the Premier League club.

This decision has prompted Bayern Munich to contemplate appointing Ralf Rangnick as their interim manager for the duration of a single season.

Looking ahead to the 2025–2026 season, there is speculation that Xabi Alonso could be a potential candidate for the managerial position. Alonso has indicated his commitment to Bayer Leverkusen for at least another year.

Following Euro 2024, there were rumours linking Julian Nagelsmann with a return to Bayern Munich. However, Nagelsmann has chosen to prolong his contract with the German national team instead.

Rangnick Will Be Used as a One Season Solution

Rangnick, presently serving as Austria’s manager, boasts prior Bundesliga experience, notably with RB Leipzig.

Taking the reins as interim manager of Manchester United in 2021 post the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjær marked a pivotal moment in his career.

Despite his esteemed reputation and vast knowledge of the sport, his tenure in the Premier League yielded disappointing results.

Reports suggest the 65-year-old will be engaged by Bayern for a single season before the club pursues Klopp.
