Jurgen Klopp Claims “Loyal” Liverpool Star Would Sign a 15-year Contract at Anfield

Liverpool’s success under Jurgen Klopp’s management has been attributed in part to the family atmosphere cultivated within the club.

This environment has fostered a sense of loyalty among players towards Liverpool, a sentiment that has been particularly evident among those on the fringes of the squad.

One such player is Divock Origi, who despite his status as a Liverpool icon, has often found himself on the sidelines under Klopp’s tenure.

Despite limited playing time, Origi has remained content at Anfield, eschewing opportunities to seek more regular minutes elsewhere.

This sense of unity and contentment within the squad extends to Klopp’s rotation policy, which has rarely faced opposition from discontented players behind the scenes.

The cohesion within the team has remained steadfast, even as the possibility of changes looms ahead of upcoming matches.

It’s highly likely that Harvey Elliott will be in the starting lineup when Liverpool face Atalanta at Anfield for the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals. Liverpool aim to secure an advantage in the first leg to carry into the match in Italy next week.

Elliott has been a consistent starter in seven out of eight Europa League matches for Liverpool, completing each one. Although he only played half of the team’s recent victory against Sparta Prague, a match that ended 6-1, his performance this season has been outstanding.

In an interview with TNT Sports this week ahead of the clash with Atalanta, Klopp spoke about Elliott, expressing confidence in the youngster’s loyalty, suggesting he would commit to a 15-year deal with Anfield without hesitation.

“I’m so happy it has worked out like it has worked out. The future is super bright for him. You see him play for England’s U21 side, like he’s that guy. He’s turning into a wonderful young man. He’s so loyal.

“If you ask him tomorrow – he would sign a 15-year contract for the club. It’s nice to have boys like this around, this is really a match made in heaven. A super player,” Klopp said, discussing Elliott’s loyalty.
