Liverpool are gearing up to present an important offer for Midtjylland’s young talent Darío Osorio as they commence their rebuild under the guidance of Arne Slot.
According to La Tercera, Liverpool are prepared to offer $10 million plus a future percentage for the youngster.
Osorio has seen a swift ascent in his career since joining Midtjylland from Universidad de Chile last year, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in 24 matches so far.
His signing was seen as a gamble, but the 20-year-old appears poised to make a significant impact, and Liverpool might be ready to make him an offer.
According to the report, Liverpool are ‘preparing an important offer’ to secure his signature and outpace any potential competition.
They plan to offer $8-10 million plus a future percentage on him, though it remains uncertain if Midtjylland would accept that. At present, they are not dismissing the interest from Liverpool and other clubs.
“You will understand that we cannot comment on possible offers for our players. We cannot advance anything. Simply put, this is not the way we work,” sports director Ove Pederson is quoted as saying.
“I can only tell you that Darío Osorio is a great player and has had a great season.”
