“Absolutely Outstanding”: Jurgen Klopp Heaps Praise on Liverpool Player After Tottenham Win

Liverpool secured a 4-2 win against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp lauded Mo Salah’s performance following Liverpool’s triumph over Tottenham Hotspur.

Salah made a comeback to Liverpool’s starting XI after a week overshadowed by discussions regarding his future. The winger engaged in a touchline dispute with Klopp during a 2-2 draw against West Ham last week.

Despite a challenging period of form, Salah displayed glimpses of his typical brilliance against Spurs. He broke the deadlock in the 16th minute and his blocked shot led to Andy Robertson’s goal, doubling Liverpool’s lead.

Having regained his top form, Klopp showered praise on the Egypt international during an interview with Sky Sports:

“Mo was outstanding, he played a really good game. His side with Harvey [Elliott] was good. I was pleased for him.

“None of the boys want to play not great, why would they? Mo showed what he is capable of. Mo was absolutely outstanding,”
