Roberto Firmino to Make Emotional Liverpool Return Seven Months After Leaving Anfield

Roberto Firmino is set to return to Liverpool in January, just seven months after departing from the club due to the expiration of his contract.

Despite having left Anfield months ago, Firmino holds the record for the most appearances under Jurgen Klopp, surpassing Mohamed Salah by 26 matches.

Under the guidance of Klopp, the Brazilian was transformed into a dynamic centre forward. He was an integral member of the front trio, which included Salah and Sadio Mane.

Together, they collectively scored 190 goals over an eight-year span and played a pivotal role in securing Liverpool’s first Premier League title in three decades.

Last summer, a decision was made that his tenure at Liverpool had come to an end. He departed without receiving an offer for a contract renewal. Since then, he has pursued his career with Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League.

However, news has recently emerged that the 32-year-old is set to return to the city where he has predominantly played throughout his career.

On January 5, 2024, at Waterstones located on College Street in Liverpool city centre, Firmino is set to make an appearance. He will sign copies of his book for attendees.

The tickets are priced at £22. Purchasing a ticket allows fans to receive a book, meet Firmino, and get their copy signed. It’s important to note that only ticket holders will be granted entry. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Waterstones has clarified that Firmino will exclusively sign copies of his book. He will not autograph any other Liverpool memorabilia or merchandise.

Additionally, Firmino won’t be available for personal photographs. However, Waterstones staff will capture photos of ticket holders with Firmino during the book signing.
