“At This Moment in Time”: Gary Neville Now Says Who Will Win the Premier League…Arsenal or Liverpool

Gary Neville has been an advocate for Arsenal’s chances to win the Premier League since the start of the season. However, recent results are beginning to challenge his confidence in the Gunners’ potential.

Arsenal’s form has dipped in recent weeks, with the team dropping crucial points. This trend continued as they suffered another loss over the weekend, this time against Newcastle, adding to their struggles.

Mikel Arteta is aware that his team cannot afford more slip-ups. They caught a bit of a break, though, as Bournemouth’s victory over Manchester City ensured the gap between fourth place and the top remains at seven points.

Despite this, Arsenal are still playing catch-up. With Liverpool performing strongly at the top, Arsenal recognise they’ll need an impressive run to stay in contention.

Yet, Gary Neville remains optimistic, suggesting that Arteta’s side still have a chance to make a comeback.

However, Neville still considers Arsenal his top choice and believes this weekend could provide the boost they need.

“Look, I don’t sit here right now thinking Arsenal are out of the league title, that this is them sort of if you like going back”, Neville said.

“I think, it might be naive, I might be sat here in three months saying I was completely wrong, this might be what this teams need to actually to be fair go on a massive run and go and win a league title.

“Because they will be looking at Liverpool and they will be looking at City and thinking, not quite perfect, they are not what they were three or four years ago. This is a big chance. What are we doing? Wake up.”

He added: “Arsenal, at this moment in time, there are big questions being asked, but I don’t rule them out of winning the title. I still have them winning the title. And this might be what they need to win the title.”
