Liverpool Sent Double Transfer Message as “Everything is Possible” Claim Made

Valencia manager Ruben Baraja has stated that Giorgi Mamardashvili remains committed to the team despite ongoing speculation linking him with Liverpool.

The Georgian goalkeeper has recently been the subject of transfer rumours, as the Reds are reportedly keeping a close eye on his situation at the Mestalla.

There are suggestions that the 23-year-old could be groomed as a potential long-term replacement for Liverpool’s current first-choice goalkeeper, Alisson Becker.

Reports indicate that Liverpool might secure Mamardashvili’s signing but could opt to loan him out to allow further development, considering the presence of Alisson, Caoimhin Kelleher, and Vitezslav Jaros in their current goalkeeping lineup.

As Valencia prepared for their La Liga opener against Barcelona on Saturday evening, much of the attention was on Mamardashvili’s future.

Nevertheless, Baraja emphasised that the goalkeeper’s primary focus remains on the La Liga season ahead.

“It’s very simple. He’s our player, and as long as there is no other different situation, I’m not going to evaluate anything,” he said. “He’s here, he’s ready to participate. We can’t talk about situations that haven’t happened yet.”

On Saturday, reports emerged indicating that a preliminary agreement had been reached, with Bournemouth chosen as the destination for a £35 million goalkeeper, who would be sent on loan after an alleged deal was finalised.

Meanwhile, Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio remains a prominent name linked with a potential transfer to Liverpool. Head coach Ruben Amorim has done little to dispel the rumours surrounding the center-back.

Following murmurs over a Liverpool move, Amorim said “everything is possible” regarding the defender. He confessed: “A lot of news has already come out. I don’t know if there have been negotiations.

“Inacio will play tomorrow. He’s ready, whatever happens in the market. We already have some experience; we know that our players are very attractive for the market.

“Until it closes, everything is possible. No more or less worried about waiting for the market to close.”
