Dominik Szoboszlai Picks Liverpool Forward Over Virgil van Dijk as the “Strongest in the Team”

Liverpool fans are surely enjoying life right now under the management of Arne Slot, as everything seems to be going perfectly for the team in the Premier League so far.

Although the season is only three games in, Slot has already addressed a major concern from last season: Liverpool’s defence. Under his guidance, the team has yet to concede a single goal, showing significant improvement at the back.

Despite this success, Slot’s work is far from complete, especially with Champions League football and a packed schedule coming up after the international break.

Unfortunately, the recent injury to Harvey Elliott will be a setback for the team. However, the expected return of Curtis Jones should ease some of that concern and bolster the squad.

One of the biggest positives is that Mohamed Salah seems to have rediscovered his lethal scoring form, continuing his remarkable goal tally at Anfield.

In a surprising turn of events, a recent statement about Salah has sparked interest and speculation among fans and analysts alike.

Dominik Szoboszlai Picks Mohamed Salah Over Virgil van Dijk as the Strongest Liverpool Player

Liverpool still have to address Mohamed Salah’s contract, with his current agreement set to expire in mid-2025.

Despite this, Liverpool fans can remain optimistic as reports suggest Salah is determined to surpass Ian Rush’s goal record, which he is still more than 100 goals shy of reaching.

While Salah is widely recognised for his goal-scoring prowess, Dominik Szoboszlai recently revealed in a video on Liverpool’s YouTube channel that the 5ft 9in forward is the strongest player at the club.

“Yeah, he’s really strong. I could go for it that he is the strongest in the team.”

Fabrizio Romano recently mentioned that Liverpool plan to begin negotiations with Mohamed Salah regarding a possible new contract, although the discussions may take place in the coming days, weeks, or even months.

“I can confirm once again that Liverpool and Mo Salah will talk in the next days, weeks, months.

“So I can’t predict now how long will be the conversation but there will be conversations to discuss the contract situation of Mo Salah. So it’s not over yet.

“At this point between Salah and Liverpool it’s a possibility for Salah to go as a free agent this summer but it’s guaranteed at all because Liverpool want to talk to Mo Salah and Salah wants to talk to Liverpool.

“Salah is very keen on discussing with Liverpool about the new project. He’s very happy with Arne Slot, the directors, the new mangement.

“So the discussion will take place, let’s see financially, in terms of project, in terms of the length of the contract. There are many things to discuss”.
