Liverpool Receive Significant Injury Boost Ahead of Nottingham Forest Clash Following Official Update

Alexis Mac Allister Injury Update Before Liverpool’s Match Against Nottingham Forest.

Alexis Mac Allister has rejoined Argentina’s training camp as they get ready for their upcoming game against Colombia tomorrow.

The Liverpool midfielder scored the first goal in Argentina’s 3-0 victory over Chile but had to leave the field in the 79th minute due to an adductor injury.

Since then, Mac Allister has been closely monitored. Liverpool manager Arne Slot will be relieved that the injury doesn’t seem too severe.

The 25-year-old has been a key player in Liverpool’s first three Premier League wins this season, playing every minute.

Argentina are now focusing on their next challenge, a rematch against Colombia. This game mirrors the Copa America final, which Argentina won 1-0 in July.

Mac Allister has been actively participating in the team’s preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifier at Estadio Metropolitano. Argentina’s coach, Lionel Scaloni, provided updates via Claro:

“The team is fine, regaining some strength after Thursday’s game. Nico (González) trained separately and Alexis (Mac Allister) did so with us.
