Why Liverpool are Winning the Europa League
(1) Squad quality: On paper Liverpool have the best squad in this competition. the January window is coming up, and I’m excited that we will be improving even more. With a few teams dropping from the Champions league, there are some threats but no team that particularly scares me.
(2) Liverpools current form is unreal. Coming from last season, we have completely flipped it around and we should be unbeaten this season in the Premier league. This squad will win many trophies in the next few years and we are all here for the ride.
(3) Liverpool have some top youngsters and these players will take a key role in this competition. With the run of fixtures coming up, there will be fatigue within some of our players. Giving the youngsters perfect opportunities to prove themselves on the big stage.
(4) Leadership is a big component of success and we have a lot of leadership at the club. Virgil is our captain but we have others such as Trent who is our vice captain, Salah, Endo, Szoboszlai, Robertson and Virgil who are all captains on the international level.
(5) Anfield is a huge factor. Our away form might not be as strong, but at home it’s a different story. I feel confident in getting a result against any team in the world at home and it’s a key to our success.
