‘I’ve Been Told’: £50m Player is ‘Probably’ Not Going to Sign for Liverpool Now – Journalist

Liverpool have made an impressive start to the summer transfer window.
Jeremie Frimpong has already completed a move to Anfield, Florian Wirtz appears close to joining the Reds, and Milos Kerkez has also emerged as a strong target for Arne Slot’s squad.
At the same time, there is growing speculation about possible major departures.
Luis Diaz is rumoured to be on his way out, and Darwin Nunez is also reportedly heading for an exit.
Should either Diaz or Nunez depart, Liverpool will be in need of reinforcements in the forward line, prompting the club to monitor several wingers and strikers in recent weeks.
One such name is Nico Williams, who has been linked with a switch to Liverpool. However, Matt Law, speaking on the London is Blue Podcast, claims the Spanish winger now appears more likely to join Bayern Munich instead.
Nico Williams Probably Headed to Bayern Munich
Law discussed Nico Williams in the context of growing interest from several Premier League sides.
Arsenal have shown strong interest in the winger, and Liverpool are also reported to be in the race.
Despite that, Law believes Williams is now expected to join Bayern Munich, where he would serve as a replacement for Leroy Sane, who is reportedly on his way to Galatasaray.
“There have been reports come out in Germany in the last 24 hours of Bayern Munich, and that far more fits with what I’ve been told is likely to happen with Nico Williams,” Law said.
“I don’t think an English club with the demand to that clause that we spoke about last time, and the wage demands, I don’t see an English club out there, I don’t see City or a Liverpool going in for him. I think he will probably go to Bayern Munich”
Nico Williams’ Stats This Season
Nico Williams is undeniably an exciting talent, something that becomes clear the moment you watch him in action.
The winger possesses remarkable pace and isn’t afraid to take on defenders, often leaving them behind with ease.
That said, his end product this season has raised some concerns.
While Williams is certainly entertaining to watch, his output in the final third hasn’t quite matched the expectations typically associated with a £50 million player.

If Liverpool are to bring in a replacement for someone like Diaz, they’ll need a player capable of delivering similar numbers — and unfortunately, Williams doesn’t appear to fit that profile.
Regardless, Williams now seems bound for Bayern Munich, meaning Liverpool will have to explore other options if they intend to sign a new left winger this summer.
