‘Love’ – Milos Kerkez Sends Liverpool Six-word Message After Winning the Premier League Title

Liverpool have secured the Premier League title following a dominant 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.
Milos Kerkez, who has been linked with a potential move to Liverpool during the upcoming summer transfer window, has extended his congratulations to compatriot Dominik Szoboszlai for winning the Premier League title.
The Reds have now been crowned champions of England for the 20th time in their history, drawing level with Manchester United. Arne Slot’s side confirmed the title with a commanding win over Tottenham, clinching the silverware with four matches still to play.
Dominik Szoboszlai has played a significant role in Liverpool’s successful campaign. The midfielder has featured in 32 Premier League matches so far, scoring five goals and providing six assists.
During the victory against Spurs, he delivered the cross that led to Luis Diaz’s equaliser and later set up Mo Salah for Liverpool’s fourth goal.
Szoboszlai has made history by becoming the first Hungarian player to win the Premier League. He joined Liverpool in the summer of 2023 from RB Leipzig for a transfer fee of £60 million.
His international teammate and Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez has expressed his belief that Szoboszlai’s achievement is well deserved.
Kerkez posted a photo of the pair together on X with the captain: “You deserve it my friend, love❤️👏🏻.” Szoboszlai then replied with the emojis “🙏❤️.”
Liverpool’s celebrations stretched well into Sunday night, with both players and supporters revelling in the triumph. Arne Slot marked his first season as Anfield head coach by leading the Reds to the title and will have cherished every moment of the achievement.
However, after a few days of festivities, Slot and his coaching team will return to work. The Anfield boss views this title as the beginning of a new era for Liverpool and has consistently emphasised that the club must challenge for trophies every season.
Milos Kerkez has emerged as a target for Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window. The left-back has enjoyed an impressive season with Bournemouth, scoring twice and providing six assists.
The 21-year-old joined the Cherries while Liverpool’s current sporting director, Richard Hughes, held the same position at the south-coast club. Bournemouth are reported to have placed a £40 million valuation on Kerkez.
Reinforcements at left-back appear to be on Liverpool’s agenda as they look for a long-term successor to Andy Robertson. The Scotland international has been a vital figure during his eight years at Anfield and has now collected a second Premier League title. Yet, with Robertson turning 31, Liverpool are already planning for the future.
Speaking after the latest title triumph, Robertson told Sky Sports: “The last time we won it was a stranger time, but I suppose we kind of got that feeling against Man United at home.
“It was pretty much done at that point with [being] 16 or 19 points clear. It’s not like quite clinching it and then obviously the world paused. It was quite unique the way we did it.
“We enjoyed it, of course we did, but you can’t beat what we experienced today and how we went to the ground and the fans during and after the game. Nothing quite compares to that and I’m glad we got to experience it that way as well.”
