Under the guidance of new manager Arne Slot, the Netherlands international seems revitalised. Previously known for his box-to-box style, Gravenberch has thrived in a No.6 role, adapting to this new position seamlessly.

In Liverpool’s 2-0 victory over Serie A side Bologna in the Champions League, Gravenberch once again shone. He created two chances, completed 91% of his passes, and successfully executed three out of four dribbles.
Moreover, he won four out of six ground duels, recorded one tackle, made one clearance, secured nine recoveries, and delivered seven passes into the final third.
Gravenberch’s all-around abilities were on full display as Liverpool maintained their perfect start in the competition.

As with much of this season, Gravenberch’s performance against Bologna left a strong impression on several pundits, including Steve McManaman of TNT Sports and Clinton Morrison of Sky Sports.
“This is what he gives you as a number six. His mobility is brilliant, so different from a traditional number six,” said former Liverpool winger McManaman (via BBC Sport).
Morrison said: “Gravenberch has been the best player on the pitch again for Liverpool. He’s been outstanding.”
