Andy Robertson Drops Brilliant Four-word Comment Liverpool Teammate After Impressive Performance Against Wolves

Ryan Gravenberch once again found himself in the spotlight during Liverpool’s victory over Wolves at Molineux.

Following Gravenberch’s impressive Man of the Match performance against Wolves on Saturday, Andy Robertson took to social media to acknowledge his contribution. Liverpool secured a 2-1 win against Gary O’Neil’s team.

In the match, Ibrahima Konate netted the opening goal during the first half, with Mohamed Salah later restoring Liverpool’s lead through a penalty after Rayan Ait-Nouri had equalized.

This victory propelled Liverpool to the top of the table, placing them one point ahead of both Manchester City and Arsenal.

Upon receiving the award after the final whistle, Gravenberch said: “Of course, this season I want to show myself again. I think I’m [going] in the right way.

“I have to keep going. I’m happy. He [head coach Arne Slot] just put me in the starting XI and gave me a lot of confidence – and you see it. I think I’m doing really well.”

Gravenberch has been consistently impressive this season, standing out in each game.

After the match, his teammate Andy Robertson shared a lighthearted moment by posting a photo of the midfielder holding his Player of the Match award in the locker room on his Instagram stories.

Writing a caption, Robertson joked: “Give it a rest, [sleeping emoji].” Trent Alexander-Arnold also shared a picture of Gravenberch and wrote: “Man of the moment, [eyestruck emoji].”

It can be said that Arne Slot hit the jackpot with his decision to use Gravenberch after a missed opportunity to sign Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi. In response, the Dutch manager opted to utilise Gravenberch in the holding midfield role.

Gravenberch recently marked his sixth consecutive start for Liverpool during their match at Molineux, delivering another impressive performance.

Slot’s team will now shift focus to their upcoming Champions League clash against Bologna, scheduled for Wednesday at 8pm.
