Utilizing the facilities of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the American football team, Liverpool’s squad started gearing up for their upcoming friendly match against Real Betis scheduled for Saturday.
Under the Pennsylvania sun, which made for a particularly warm day, Arne Slot and his 28-player roster commenced their training.
As Slot assessed the Liverpool squad he came to oversee, the new head coach was notably vocal from the sidelines, issuing some distinctive instructions.

The squad that Slot is currently working with in America is quite different from the team he will manage throughout the season.
With many first-team players still absent, the upcoming 10 days offer a significant opportunity for academy prospects to make their mark.
One player to keep an eye on is young midfielder Luca Stephenson, who has shown promise during his loan spell in League Two. Slot has been observing Stephenson and the rest of the squad closely during Wednesday’s training session at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.

The video not only offered insights into Liverpool’s experiences in Pittsburgh but also showed Slot’s specific demands from his players before they engaged in a high-energy, small-sided game with small goals.

Liverpool supporters are eagerly anticipating their first proper glimpse of the team under new manager Slot this weekend.
So far, the Reds have only had one pre-season match, which was held behind closed doors at the AXA Training Centre.
Now, Slot and his revamped squad are set to make their debut on a larger stage at the Acrisure Stadium, which has a capacity of 68,000. The match against Betis will kick off at 12:30 a.m. UK time.
Following this, Liverpool will head to Philadelphia to face Arsenal, with the match scheduled for 12:30 a.m. early Thursday morning UK time.
