Feyenoord defender Lutsharel Geertruida is also reported to have held discussions with Liverpool, but the acquisition of Summerville seems particularly logical.
Last season, Summerville scored 19 goals and provided 9 assists for Leeds United, though the club narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League.

After Klopp left Liverpool, the club looked for a replacement who could replicate the German’s high-pressing, dynamic style and chose the Dutchman.

Following Leeds’ draw with Hull City in September, Daniel Farke was eager to commend Summerville for his efforts off the ball.
