Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested in Ait-Nouri, and he has been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal in recent months as his reputation continues to grow.

Although he wouldn’t come cheap, with Wolves’ asking price reportedly rising to £38 million due to increasing interest, if the club views him as Robertson’s long-term replacement, now would be the opportune time to buy him and start the transition from the Scot to the young Algerian.
