Liverpool Learn Premier League Star Transfer ‘Decision’ as club Willing to Make £42m ‘Bid’

Here are the latest Liverpool transfer updates, including new developments on Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, who is heading to Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid forward Brahim Diaz.

Liverpool are at the center of rumours involving a Champions League winner after seemingly missing out on signing one of the Premier League’s top players.

The Reds completed a crucial piece of business before the end of the season by appointing Arne Slot as their new head coach. However, they have not signed any new players in the month since.

There have been some departures, with Calvin Ramsay going on a season-long loan to Wigan Athletic, and both Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara leaving after their contracts expired.

Speculation linking Michael Olise to Liverpool has intensified this month, but it appears to be unfounded as the Crystal Palace winger has chosen to join Bayern Munich.

While the deal is not yet finalised, Olise has expressed his preference, according to The Athletic, following Bayern’s contact with Palace last week.

Bayern Munich will now work towards securing an agreement to add Olise to new head coach Vincent Kompany’s squad. Chelsea and Newcastle United also showed interest in Olise but were outbid by Bayern.

Although Liverpool were not mentioned in these latest reports, they are reportedly offering £42 million to acquire Real Madrid attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz.

The former Manchester City player, who made five Premier League appearances in 2018, joined Madrid the following year.

After spending a season and a half back in Spain since leaving Malaga at 16, Diaz spent three years on loan at AC Milan.

Following a single season back with Real Madrid, the Morocco international might be set for a return to England.
